"Brothers in the Cause" -- On a trip to Nauvoo for a performance, we had the priviledge of visiting Carthage Jail. We each felt the spirit strongly testify that day of the mission of the prophet Joseph Smith, and his brother Hyrum, in restoring the gospel of our Savior. That place is hallowed ground and each of us felt that as we walked on the grounds where the Prophet was martyred.

"Tuppence a Bag" -- It is a local tradition to feed the pigeons in the downtown area of Santiago. We got a kick out of this. Luckily we all escaped without doodoo damage.

"Local Pub." -- This is us in one of our many publicity appearances on a local news station in Santiago.

"Empanadas ALL around" -- When we hit Chile in the summer of '05, we were in empanada heaven.

Welcome bloggers to Jericho Roadtrips

"Alabama Cavedwellers" - We going to tackle a new idea and put up some of our own pictures for your viewing pleasure! We think it'll be fun and that you'll get to know us behind the scenes and off the stage. Take this shot for instance. After a tour down South, we decided to dress up like rascals and join our number one Alabama fan, D-squared (show promoter), in one of his favorite past times....spelunking, a.k.a. caving. Here we are in front of this hole in the ground that opens up into the most incredible cavern. We never saw it coming; even with those posh hard hats.

"FOREver Irish" - If you know anything about JR, it's that we like to take in the local surroundings wherever we're performing. A few year's back, we took our first international tour to the United Kingdom. While we were in Belfast, Northern Ireland, we took in a round of golf. Except we had a "wee" problem -- no clubs. Luckily, the golf shop hooked us up....but to this day I still believe Abe only used his 3-wood or putter on every single shot. I vaguely recall a chip he punched within two feet of the hole with his putter 70 yards out. Remind me never to lend my clubs to that guy.

"First Day in the Studio....Ever" - This shot goes wayyyy back as we hit the studio for the very first time as Jericho Road. Our first songs were recorded at June Audio in Provo, UT, and included "Inside of Me," "Every Single Tear," and "About My Father's Business." Pictured here is our longtime producer Tyler Castleton (green shirt, Pat Riley slickness) along with the June Audio crew, including Scott Wiley (white shirt) and his assistant.
